The Shift

The vehicle is no longer just a machine.

Every new vehicle — a gig delivery scooter, a cargo three-wheeler, an electric bus, a connected tractor, a premium car — is now born with a telemetry stream.

But data flowing is not the same as intelligence existing. The vehicle of the next decade is a continuously evolving software platform that happens to have hardware around it. It receives software updates over the air. It monitors its own battery health. It connects its driver to emergency services in seconds. It generates recurring revenue for the OEM long after the sale.

The question every OEM is confronting is not just who owns the intelligence — it is who owns the entire connected lifecycle. From factory activation to the driver's daily experience, from regulatory compliance to commercial monetization. That question has one answer: the platform that runs it.

The Origin

Built at scale before it was called a platform.

Autrio was not built by people who read about connected vehicles. It was built by people who built them — electric two-wheeler fleets exceeding a million vehicles, hybrid clouds serving major OEM programs.

We worked with FOSS stacks and cloud-native architectures, built telemetry pipelines from scratch, integrated with existing OEM infrastructure — not as vendors handing over a project, but as ISVs who lived with the consequences of every decision.

Across every engagement, the same pattern repeated: the infrastructure worked, the data flowed, but the intelligence never arrived. Autrio is what we wish had existed.

One engagement changed the framing entirely. Sixty-five production features. Seventeen regulatory compliance domains. A global OEM programme spanning fifteen markets — consumer experience, battery intelligence, remote operations, emergency services, factory activation, and full run operations, deployed end-to-end on one platform. That programme became the proof of concept for everything Autrio is today.

The Problem

Three gaps. One platform. Autrio closes all of them.

Connected vehicle programs fail for one of three reasons — and most programmes suffer from all three simultaneously.

The intelligence gap
  1. 01Vehicle TCU streams telemetry to an OEM cloud.
  2. 02Raw data sits in storage. Days pass. Sometimes weeks.
  3. 03Analysts query the warehouse. A report is produced.
  4. 04Decisions are made on information already old.
Result: a connected vehicle program that is a cost centre — not a revenue line.
The experience gap
  1. 01The driver downloads the OEM app. They can see the car's location.
  2. 02No remote operations. No intelligent alerts. No feature that feels premium.
  3. 03Subscription revenue: zero. App store rating: below 3.0. Loyalty: eroding.
  4. 04The vehicle is connected. The customer does not feel it.
Result: connectivity as a cost of sale, not a differentiated product.
The Autrio answer
  1. 01Telemetry is normalised and decision-ready in real time.
  2. 02A white-label consumer app delivers remote ops, alerts, and subscriptions under the OEM brand.
  3. 03Compliance, PKI, and regulatory certification are built in — not bolted on.
  4. 04One stream feeds product, service, fleet, insurers, and regulators simultaneously.
The platform that turns the connected vehicle investment into commercial value.
The Platform

Five layers. One deployment.

From the first byte off the CAN bus to the driver's mobile app — the complete Software Defined Vehicle platform, production-proven at global OEM scale.

Edge · in-vehicle

In-vehicle edge agent for CAN signal processing, OTA delivery, and encrypted offline buffering — with a hardware abstraction layer designed for portability across controller generations.

Cloud · intelligence layer

Multi-tenant cloud platform. Real-time ingestion, normalisation, analytics, and consumer APIs — production-proven at millions of vehicles.

01
Edge
In-vehicle agent

Hardware-agnostic vehicle client that runs on any domain controller or TCU. Reads every CAN signal, conditions data at the edge, and maintains an encrypted local buffer when connectivity drops.

  • CAN bus decode
  • Secure OTA delivery
  • Offline buffer
  • Hardware-agnostic
02
Pipeline
Raw to ready

Multi-tenant cloud ingestion at millions of events per second. Every signal is normalised against the vehicle's signal catalog, routed to the right downstream consumer, and stored with schema governance.

  • Real-time ingestion
  • Signal normalisation
  • Multi-tenant routing
  • Schema registry
03
Intelligence
Signals to decisions

The analytical layer that makes telemetry commercially valuable. Battery State-of-Health, Remaining Useful Life prediction, driving behaviour scoring, predictive maintenance, and Usage-Based Insurance — ready for every stakeholder.

  • Battery SOH / RUL
  • Driving analytics
  • Predictive maintenance
  • UBI scoring
04

  • Remote operations
  • Geofencing
  • Emergency SOS
  • Subscription commerce
05
Compliance
The regulatory foundation

End-to-end PKI and device certificate lifecycle, cybersecurity management aligned to UNECE R155, software update management under R156, AIS-140 for India, e-Call for emergency services, and data protection across regional regimes.

  • PKI & certificates
  • Cybersecurity by design
  • Regulatory-ready OTA
  • e-Call / b-Call

The Consumer Layer

The vehicle experience. Delivered under your brand.

The driver does not care about telemetry pipelines. They care about their car doing what they need it to do — and telling them when it cannot. Autrio delivers a white-label consumer application that makes every vehicle feel intelligent from day one.

Remote & Intelligent

The car does what you need.

Lock, unlock, start, and precondition your vehicle from anywhere. Every interaction, under 3 seconds.

  • Remote door lock / unlock with step-up authentication
  • Engine start, horn, and lighting — from the app
  • Thermal preconditioning before you leave the office
  • Geofence alerts within 30 seconds of breach
  • Valet and time-fence modes with owner overrides
Battery & Health Intelligence

Know before it becomes a problem.

Real-time battery health, predictive degradation, and maintenance intelligence — for drivers, fleets, and OEM service teams.

  • State-of-Health trending and Remaining Useful Life prediction
  • Charge scheduling, time-to-full, and range optimisation
  • Monthly health report with diagnostic summary
  • Proactive maintenance alerts 2 weeks before they are due
  • DTC monitoring with service network notification
Safety, Always On

There when it matters most.

Crash detection, emergency services, and roadside assistance — from the moment something goes wrong to the moment it is resolved.

  • Automatic crash notification to registered contacts within 10 seconds
  • SOS emergency button with call-centre routing
  • Roadside assistance booked in-app, tracked to completion
  • Regulatory e-Call where required by law
  • Tamper-proof emergency event store for compliance

Every consumer feature is subscription-gated, carline-aware, and fully OEM-branded. Your customers see your brand. Your product team sees feature usage intelligence. Your service network sees predictive failure signals. Your finance team sees subscription revenue. All from a single platform deployment.

The Vision

One telemetry stream. Every stakeholder. The vehicle that never stops improving.

The vehicle of 2030 is a continuously evolving AI edge device. Its intelligence belongs to the ecosystem — not to one stakeholder. Autrio is the platform layer that makes that possible.

The Driver
knows their vehicle is healthy before they leave the driveway — and can lock, precondition, or call for help from anywhere in the world.
The OEM Product Team
understands how real-world drivers use every feature — informing the next software update before the next model year.
The Service Network
predicts which vehicles will need maintenance before the owner knows anything is wrong — reducing warranty cost and unplanned downtime.
The Fleet Operator
sees utilisation, productivity, energy efficiency, and asset health across the entire fleet — regardless of OEM or vehicle type.
The Insurer
prices risk on actual driving behaviour rather than actuarial tables — creating products that reward safe operators and reduce claims.
The City
understands mobility flow, congestion, and energy demand — planning infrastructure for the mobility stack that actually exists.
